tell us a bit about your journey and why you decided to open your own salon:

myself, shelly, and julia go way back. we’d talked about opening up a salon together over the years… it was all about finding the right location that would suit us and our clients. we wanted a space to run our business from that would attract other freelance hairstylists. then, our unit on the recently revived stanley square came up and the rest is history.

how long have you been an evo salon?

we have been a fully evo salon from the start, for just over 2 years now. we love the products, and our technicians love working with evo colour. our clients love all the styling products too.

what attracted you to evo?

we were attracted to evo as it was something different in the way of punchy packaging, we love the 'good for the planet' ethos, and evo styling products cover everything a stylist would need for every hair type possible. we love the incredible shine evo products give, and the range of colours in the hue-verse, staino and fab pro lines. we get great feedback from clients on the results.

what is your favourite evo tip or trick that other stylists might not have tried before?

i love to blow dry straight hair smooth with liquid rollers, which is actually a curl cream, but it works wonders on most hair types and leaves the hair super shiny and smooth.
